Hello everyone I’m Lee been playing with BB guns and air rifles for years but never played airsoft, need to get out more so thought I would give it a go, I’m 45 and from Kent so any recommendations on sites and if you fancy showing a newbie how it’s done any advice would be great. 👍

Welcome to the money pit.

Apocalypse Airsoft seems popular with many: https://apocalypse249.co.uk/v2/ I dislike the place.

Thanks Colin, I have been told about apocalypse and Ace but can’t play Ace as it falls on my Sundays at work. Where would you recommend?

Majority of sites around this way are Sundays unfortunately, Collin no doubt will know of more sites than me so can say for sure but I haven’t seen a Saturday hosted game for a loooong time around London/Essex
I only work every other Sunday so have 2 free a month just unfortunately it’s the same Sundays as ace play.

I marshalled at Ace for a few years; I have not been back since. Again, some people like it; it is small and pretty much an outdoor CQB site now.

I don't play at any Kent sites, but I know people who rate Cool Under Fire https://cufairsoft.com/ and Ultimate Wargames https://www.ultimatewargames.net/

I am not sure what is happening with Invicta https://www.invictabattlefield.co.uk/woodland-site. They were supposed to be moving to a new outdoor site, but I have not heard anything about it.

Tactical Warfare Airsoft, near Biggin Hill, is open on Saturdays; however, if it was the only site left in the UK, I would take up paintball.

Depending on where you are, I would give Apocalypse or Cool Under Fire a try. Apocalypse do Saturday games as well as Sundays.

I've played many a milsim/filmsim at Ultimate Wargames. Bloody excellent fun. The games run by Sierra Bravo Airsoft are amazing.

I've never played the site on an average skirmish day, but I love the site itself. The different areas that they squeeze in is really good, and the site owner is a decent chap IMHO. Just approach the site from the East side. The tiny lane that runs to the West is often full of impassable fly tipped waste!

Thanks guys, I’m in the Medway towns but don’t mind travelling.

Apocalypse near Sittingbourne do some Saturday games, worth looking them up on FB to get the pre-book prices.

Is the owner still the somewhat obese gentleman?
