Gun picture thread

I’ve see a few negative airsoft vids saying this is only high caps only..? Unless you mod some mids.. was really interested in one of these. The sound alone sounds amazing
It comes with a high cap, it's compatible with a lot of Midcaps I've tried, they just need the small plastic square near the BB feed on the mag. Battleaxe, Cyma, DE and Nuprol all work with it.

This was a while back, but I would say wait unless you'd like to try something new! It has issues, which I've had to sort out myself by sticking a magnet on the bolt in order for the hall sensor to work to allow it to fire.

I think it needs a couple more months before it's ready, but it's definitely an exciting platform.

Appreciate it dude

Been working on my 7.62 surefire.
Trying to give it a well fired/burnt look.

It's not the best for a 1st attempt.
Any suggestions how to get it looking better?View attachment 25931View attachment 25932
Dude can’t lie this looks amazing I love all things paintwork wise lol 😂

I think the only thing I would suggest as real steel pics of painted suppressors well fired have a pinky/red tinge I believe this is due to heat and the burning off of the paint possibly so maybe adding that in I’ve added a few pics to badly show what I mean lol 😂

Would you mind sharing how you achieved what you have done so far pls ?

I am aware of the red ish hue. But am trying to figure out how to best add it without it looking shit. As painting doesn't blend too well.
Airbrush maybe only option. But not something that's I own.

For the burnt look. It's a mix of brown, blue and black paint. Slowly dabbed on with a sponge. So it mixes. Leaving spots of blue where the metal has got hot.
Then I used a lighter to burn either side of the paint. The give it that heated effect.
Then just covered it with a small layer of matte lacquer.
It's not the best. But do like how the paint has left almost a bubbled/pitted effect being sponged on.

Yeah mate the look is awesome I might try that myself what youve just described

Have you thought about model making coloured powder mixing that in with some lawyer and the applying how you see fit

Yeah, had looks at the velajo burnt earth powder. But it's one of them. Your never sure of the true colour when looking online. And no decent model/railway shops near me at all.

I was thinking about genuinely heating it up. But not sure how well airsoft stuff would hold up.
Hence trying other options first.

Thank you bud. It's still a w.i.p.,doing little bits at a time
