I know - the problem is that the MOSFET I bought to replace the dead one is even bigger, so unless I shift the whole Deans connectors, fuse & fet into the handguard, there will be no room for a fuse. I need the bigger MOSFET though, because it has Active Breaking, which I need to prevent the gun from firing full auto when semi-auto is selected with an 11.1V LiPo. which I want for the trigger response.
If I do that then I will have to keep long wires on my batteries, which themselves become a PITA on some other guns, my Inokatsu/TM AK-47S for eg, and being able to swap batteries around between my guns is pretty important to keeping the cost of my collection down...
