Guessing Game!

Blue Side Lights!

And i dunno i havnt asked yet but they are a grey area.... On one hand all they are is Auxeillery lights and dont effect the main beam etc

But on the other hand they are a of a blue colour so might be mistaken for police or something....

Far as I knew it was illegal as you can get done for trying to replicate a police vehicle. Couldn't be totally sure though.

Thats what i was told Dev, as if you flash it looks like an unmarked copper.

They dont flash.... They come on when you turn on the ignition but the engine isnt running.... I have seen cars with them little LED pod on the Bonnets and they seam to get away with it?

Maybe they get away with it because it's never been noticed. I guess it'd depend how bright they are too. You can always slip down the local nick but they'll probably strongly advise against it even if it isn't illegal (as with any modding)

Yer i know.... I might do it... After my speeding ticket hearing.. lol

They are only like £2 each so if i have to take them out its not that big of a deal

I meant when you flash them, you could just spam flash and everyone would move out your way thinking you were an unmarked copper.

I would make sure there legal though most likely a Pretty hefty fine.

No No they arnt apart of the main flashlight assembally so they dont flash when you press the "pass" Button.... So in short there consently on

I think Matt realises that, I think what he's trying to say is that coppers standard headlights flash and there are other blue lights on the vehicle to identify it.

I think it could quite easily confuse someone on a bumpy road as your standard light might look like it's flashing (quite easy especially if the car is moving around a bit) and they'd also see the blue lights and wonder if you were police or not.

I know it sounds iffy, but that's all it takes for something to be made illegal, as I'm pretty sure you could get a fair percentage of drivers pulling over for you if you tried.
