G&G combat machine buffer tube help

So im putting a new etu into my old ass combat machine and ive hit a snag with the battery cable. The deans cable wont fit throught the buffer tube and the inset in the tube is molded in and block it image attached.
Ive got a replacement buffer tube but the lower reciever extension to mount the is too long to secure it annd stock slides along.
Anychance someones come accross a similar issue and knows a way to resolve without cutting the extension?
Im not going to chip and solder a new etu. Ideally just swap in a buffer tube with removable insert.
Appreciate any help here i have been at my whits end on this for far too long.

G&G usually have their wiring spaded due to this design

Your choices are to either:
chop and spade your etu wiring
bore out the buffer to fit the deans
change the buffer tube and possibly screw/plate to one with a more convenient design

Cheers. Im trying to avoid soldering. Any recommedndations on a stock tube tgat futs the on combat machines?

Nah, they can be quite fussy
depends on how long the buffer block thingy (technical name) sticks out the receiver
You could always chop that bit down to suit any buffers you currently have, or get
However, that does come with the gamble of not doing it right and also, it is a practically irreversable physical modification.

I would bore the gng tube if you really don't wanna solder

but I'd honestly say that your best option is to spade that wiring since it's the easiest thing to rectify should it go wrong
