ive been scouring the rorum for a few months now. have noticed alot of people only join to sell or buy or they have a problem which is fine but it would be good if members didnt abuse it eg a user joins up gets thee problem sorted then never comes back.

however i have done two topics this week and neither got replyedto dont know why and this isnt a rant but maybe an unsure answer is better than no answer.

on a motoercycle forum im part of they have a rank system

1 being learner rider

2 being passed a cbt

3 being restricted license

4 being full license

and 5 being professional rider

so you start on 1 then ever 50 posts u gain a rank

and tada when you rank at 5 you can post for selling properly ie motorcycles.

however it may put people off and they dont join at all

Yer but then you would get poeple spamming and the Mods will be spending half thier time deleting posts

ofcourse you will so what about maybe a donation system to be able to sell

eg for every item u wanna sell its a pound or something like that

It's a good idea but unfortunately quite hard to implement. We are not the only airsofting forums about, and since none of our competition do this, it'd more than likely kill us since people will just go elsewhere for free.
