The old software was no longer supported, when things went wrong or needed to be updated, it couldn't be done. Can't see why it was changed. Doesn't seem as good as it was.

Yes, strange that.Funny how it's the ones who only use the site for sales and contribute ⅘ of fuck all to the forum who are whining
imagine moaning about a free service where you have made over a hundred salesFunny how it's the ones who only use the site for sales and contribute ⅘ of fuck all to the forum who are whining
I’ve been biting my tongue in this one, but seeing as you’ve opened the worm can and I’ve had a shit week…Funny how it's the ones who only use the site for sales and contribute ⅘ of fuck all to the forum who are whining
Absolutely spot on.I’ve been biting my tongue in this one, but seeing as you’ve opened the worm can and I’ve had a shit week…
100% agree. I don’t know what the admin team here do for a living, but I know for certain its not running this fucking forum we all use free of charge.
Nonetheless - the time has been taken to keep it alive and running, allowing people to use it as they like, even if that is just to flog their toy guns and never participate in the community.
Platform migrations like the one we’ve just seen aren’t a click of a button. It’s a ton of work which I presume the team have had to do in their free time.
I’ve said it in another post but I get paid to do work similar to this as my full time job. The work the team have done would be considered a job well done in my book even with paying customers.
There was notice of the upcoming change. Delays were communicated and updates given. Go-live was successful with team on hand to answer support questions. Feedback is listened to and where possible being actioned.
If we were hiring I’d have these guys on my team.
Don’t like the free service you’re getting? Set up your own platform, build and support it from the ground up in your spare time and listen to everyone tell you how shit it is and come back and let us know how you get on.
