So, after a while of thought, I decided: sack the AS VAL, sack unique altogether; it'll be more expensive for proprietary parts and if breaks, they won't be readily available or ever at all...

So... after contemplating my life long of hating M4s, I decided i'll just get one because i can do a lot of shiz to it.

That said, I ain't gonna go out and buy a fresh, recommended, and all things considered G&G combat machine M4, OH nonononononononono not in a million years.

I'm building a Noveske Diplomat rifle configured like this which I found in a game i sometimes play:

Then attaching a silencer later on:

"I thought you said you were sacking unique and now you want to build this?!" You may ask. Yes, i slightly contradicted myself but hey at least m4 related parts are more readily available.

All I need to do is find the parts i need and assemble them.

From what i've found so far, the closest body there is, is the noveske MUR body:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Madbull-Noveske-MUR-Upper-Lower-Receiver-with-Ultimate-Hop-up-Chamber-/281138109471

But looking at pics, the magwell is significantly fatter, like an ipsc magwell for pistols.. so i'm not sure what type of body it is

For the handguard, the closest thing is the 7.25 free float which seems to be the correct one:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Madbull-Noveske-Rifleworks-Free-Float-7-25inch-Handguard-Rail-For-M4-Series-AEG-/281114534274?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Paintballing&hash=item4173bb6182

As far as the stock goes, I don't know what type of stock it is as well as the magazine which looks different from the traditional PMAG.

If I could get some help finding the parts, that would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like the lower receiver is the only part you can't really replicate (unless you had one made especially ofc)

I know the stock but never known what it's called, apart from 'clubfoot' but that was probably what one of the Chinese retailers called it

Buying a gun instead of building one would be easier.

Bear in mind that the models used in video games aren't always 100% accurate.

After a bit of snooping around, turns out it is called an EMOD stock found here:

http://airsoft-club.com/shop/external-upgrade/grip-stock/stock/element-vltor-enhanced-carbine-modstock-emod-stock-black

As for outer barrels, landwarrior covers that as well as the 7.25 inch handguard.

Hop up is covered because it comes with the MUR body.

With mags, i'll use regular pmags with grip tape.

With the gearbox, i'll make it fire 25+ rps.

Thanks, it has helped a bit so far.

As far as manufacturing an RIF is concerned, I am aware of that, but i won't be using it other than skirmishing, not even at home since I have a lot of neighbours and I'm not so innocent at my age anymore. Also, since you can cover up two tone guns for skirmishes, it won't matter there. However, Ian once said to me that as long as I can prove I am a skirmisher (I can't yet, but i will), it won't matter. I can also spray it purple (I like purple) if i wanted to. Either way, no one cares.

My god, you're right... the amoeba body... looks almost identical to a noveske gen 2 body...

But i'm against the "amoeba" trade etched into the body...
But of filler and a lick of paint, you'll never know...

I mean this in the nicest and most helpful way possible mate, if youre on a fairly tight budget and cant splash out LOADS like some do to make these builds, i think youre being a tiny bit *too picky*. In all honesty does it matter if its all 100% identical to the real thing or the one in the video game or not??? Other than visually what difference will it make? For a starter rifle especially you want to concentrate on how well it performs in the environment you most commonly play and do well in! People honestly dont really care about how other guns look out in the feild, its only on the forums where we like to show them off do people pay close attention!

You mentioned you want to upgrade it to shoot 25+ rps? Like simon said the amoeba's are very similar to the gun you like, the things amoebas arent great for are their gearboxes so surely if youre upgrading it that wont matter? All you need to do is accept its not 100% identical to the noveske but still its a damm lot closer than a combat machine! I also think the build quality on them will be slightly better than a combat machine and they're more unique than a standard AR looking thing, you wanted unique correct???

*EDIT*

Ive just looked around online and ive built a gun around the build you want and visually its very close looking to what you want and wont cost you loads, giving you money to then spend on gearbox upgrades and a decent battery! (9.9v LiFePO4 battery and a pico ssr2 mosfet is what i would extremely recomend)

Im sending you all the links in a PM now.

This ain't gonna be the first gun i bring to on a skirmish next year, i'll be renting for a little while first. This is a project that i'll be working for a while so i'm not expecting so splash out some £400+ in one go but rather in months. Here, I am earning my own money every week, I can fund it.
