My assumption was the bolt messed with the feed lips of the mag and caused them to spill out into the chamber... Some how?

I cannot work out where they are coming out of the receiver; they seem to be falling out of the bottom.My assumption was the bolt messed with the feed lips of the mag and caused them to spill out into the chamber... Some how?

GHK AKs can sometimes double feed due to the, well, double feed format of the feed lips.
But that's odd, usually it's not possible to feed more than two unless severe bolt bounce is at play.

GHK AK only double feed because people stupidly file the feedlips which is not needed and contrary to good running of the platform. The fashion for doing so came from a (I think) Blacksheep Airsoft review of a GHK AK74 years back, where they did it to ease loading of the mags. It then became de rigeur but its actuallly designed like that on purpose to aid in air seal
