Airsoft Etiquett

Funnily enough I was warned on another forum for suggesting that deliberate head shots were a dick move.
I am guessing zero one forums?

Shooting someone in the face full auto at point blank is not only a dick move, it's dangerous. If the head is all you can hit then it's fair game, but if you are close and you have a choice, always aim lower. Emptying a mag full auto into someones arse is safer and way funnier :D

Thanks for all your replies! Stuck this up while I was working Nights, so gave me a good read when it was quiet.

Great info for newbi me also.

I've got my first "walk on" skirmish day next week. I work in the "real" weapon world and I'm quite nervous about messing up and annoying the old sweats at the skirmish with their established tactics and drills.

Hugely looking forward to the FUN aspect of the airsoft environment.

Thanks again

Eh, anyone that tries to tell you to do something 'tactical' that's obviously unnecessary then graciously ignore them, but afford them that same courtesy by not saying anything yourself (so that we all get along fine).

And remember that mirror lenses don't mean that people cannot sometimes see you roll your eyes at their nonsense.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but offering someone to take the hit if you snuck up on them

If there is no engagement distance rule or bang rule it's a bit of a personal thing I crept up on 3 people held rifle to them And said do you want to take the hit felt bad shooting them close up

However the same person didn't give someone else the same choice just unloaded at him.

Up to shooter of course but I'd rather the option as several bbs in the arse at close range sucks
