Really sorry to have to ask this but rather than potentially bother a load of people unnecessarily I think this is best asked here.

Does the "completed" flag on a classified advert mean "sold"? 

My assumption is "yes, what a stupid question"...

Yes. It's 'completed' as it's sold (sale advert), bought ('wanted' advert) or traded.
