    38RPS is more than enough. There's no need to go further into wankergun™ territory. By what you've said, you've done everything you physically can do with your gun. If you feel you're still lacking even now, then the issue is likely to be behind the trigger and not inside the gun.

    First of all, being gas you'll need to check that they actually still work and hold gas. If they've been sat unused for years then they may have dried out by now and either need some maintenance, or be sold as boneyard, which will decrease the value.

    Where do you do your target shooting? Would an air pistol not be a better choice, plus then you're not dealing with rebounding BBs?
