I haven't owned either but according to another thread on here the mosfet in the UTR 45 have a habit of craping themselves and need replacing

Isn't the WellPro also a DSG? Potentially, it may fail sooner than a regular airsoft AEG might.
I think there were people on here who grabbed the WellPro MCX DSG and had the ETU fail on that too but I think it was one, or maybe two, people. On the complete opposite end, i've seen people on the internet say that theirs has just kept trucking on.
It's probably just the luck of the draw.

There are a number of different versions of the WellPro at different price points; I had the standard version, which was ok. I sold it.

UTR45 has a falcon mosfet which doesn't seem that robust but mileage may vary.
Well Pro WE06 Standard came out with a dodgy mosfet (battery had to plugged and unplugged all the time so the gun could function) it was recalled by Taiwangun back in the days to get fixed but I don't know if UK retailers still selling them with the rubbish mosfet.
Other more expensive versions came out later on with different mosfets if you're dead set on that particular gun. Well Pro doesn't have a particularly good reputation as a manufacturer (they keep releasing dodgy gbb guns, too).

My UTR45 has been great, and very easy to upgrade too. However, the mags are huge, and a pain to carry-p90 mag pouches are just about the only ones I found.
