We had a lad turn up last year in full Knights templar kit , armour , tabard , helmet , fake sword , the whole thing . Sounded great if you managed to hit him ! He got some fantastic sword kills , and last game we all had to hunt him and his guards down . No one ever found him , full shiny armour and a white tabbard and he still managed to conceal himself . Great skills TBF.

Sounds challenging for sure. I a friend who did some work with 22 reg and often wanted to try get him to a game just to see new tactics.
 
I suspect it varies by gamestyle.....

If its just a prefiring hicap mags shit show with unlimited lives then running in rinsing rounds everywhere works. If limited ammo limited lives then actual tactics work.
 
Was that at electrowerkz? Full auto indoors with no bangs certainly made breaching rooms interesting
 
Elektrowerkz was the first site I ever played, you'd think that would have been enough to put me off playing any more games😱

What's not to like about a site where a major landmark is 'the stinky fridge' and it was fairly routine to find porn being shot......
 
You guys down south have some cool sites. Just looked up this electrowerkz site I take it it's no more as I can't find Airsoft site only a night club of the same name.

If memory serves me it was both, one or two nights a week it was a 3 storey cqb warehouse, & on some other nights its was a weird grunge type nightclub venue.
Never went there on a club night, probably scarier than when people are shooting at you there ?
Although they did play loud music & lots of strobes etc during some of the airsoft games.

Electrowerks is long gone sadly, but boy did it have character ...

Central london, behind angel tube station
It was a scrapyard in the week
A painball site at the weekends (and never washed down afterwards)
Airsoft on Tuesday nights
Goth / punk nightclub on friday nights
Part time porn fettish film studio ...

There was a famous story where one of the porn shoots using one of the rooms was over-running and hadn't told anyone, first game a bunch of lands stormed into one of the rooms to find one naked lass strapped into a dentist chair and two other lasses doing very non biblical things too her... (I wasn't there... heard it from a guy who heard it from... etc)

Then there was the famous "bright pink semi transparent flashing... jobbie" that someone brought along as an improvised - and far more effective - flashbang

Different nights each week.... "full auto night" was speedsoft before speedsoft was a thing. 40-50rps AEG's using massive nicad batteries that were guarinteed to strip pistons or burn out electronics (before lipos, DSG gearboxes and mosfets)... Games were won by whichever team's guns hadn't broken by the end!

Oldschool night (my favourite) where you were only allowed one hicap per game and the top players were only allowed GBB pistols to keep things fair

The thrill of taking a P90 and a pistol on the tube in a fiimsy gym bag & managing to not have any akward conversations with the armed police on the way home....

If I won the lottery (or two lotteries, knowing london land costs!) I'd resurrect the place

That sounds insane. If true that gate crashing a porn videoing sounds like one of funny moments you never forget.
 
It's utterly cringe ( I feel cringe just typing that I am too old for that shite) but I really want one of these and I would go around quoting the Dean from the Discworld book under my breath (Hut, hut, hut).
