    Would be a lot nicer if someone brought to market some sort of narrow beam ir illuminator, tight enough to aim with at the distances involved for airsoft but not nearly as concentrated as a laser. Seen a few (non - zeroable) illuminators with tight beams but don't think there's really any option...

    They aren't. Complete lemon. You'll see the odd VSR looking part somewhere but something completely proprietary somewhere else. Barely any info on it online so unless you've already gone through the process of kitting out a vsr or clone to know what to look for you're stuck.

    Wanted a 20" barrel for my MWS. Bought said barrel and it turned out to be a mid length 5KU or something barrel that wouldn't fit the handguard I wanted, gas block position was much further back. Couldn't find the "right" one anywhere else so... Barrel chopped and extended in the middle. Solder...
