Anyone got a HAO bolt carrier? Whats your experience with them?

No modifications needed. - Would have mentioned that earlier if that was the case. The sealing of the ProWin mags in combination with the stock TM bolt carrier assembly is "better" - and does infact not interfere with the mechanism. Ergo: no upwards pressure. It does however put the...

After all it was a slight difference in the construction of the nozzle-intake. The G&P - and most aftermarket nozzles - have a slight bulge in front of the hole where the gas goes in. That bulge hits the gasket rubber of the ProWin mags ever so slightly since they are couple of mm's taller...

So I ordered two more nozzle-housings, some springs - in case I break any during fitting - and am now the proud daddy of a fully functional, bolt-locking, smooth rocking G&P carrier assembly while using the 50rds ProWin mags! Easiest solution was the first I tried and it worked flawlessly...

Hope it indeed is "just" the MCX and not the S.P.E.A.R. - that would make me rob my own bank account :0).

Anyone know if this will be MCX or SPEAR?

Checked it, must have been either bad lighting or dirt.

The one I think you are refenrencing to is the OEM one ;). Silver = TM stock (bruised, scratched and hammer assist literally hammering itself) Gold = G&P (not even the colour/finish is scratched) Also: my stock hop-up unit was all wobbly and only held together with one O-ring. It is...

That is one hell of a voice :0). Concerning the ProWin mag + G&P bolt carrier situation: tried cutting down the gasket as this seems to be the reason after inspecting the height in comparison with the OEM gasket. Not a good idea without a proper rubber cutting knife. My cutter did not cut...

That's what I was thinking, the gas gasket or gas router will most likely be causing my issue. - I have many tools at my disposal but not a single one to work on rubber in a remotly close to professional manner... so having had someone already cut down the gasket the right way or grind down the...

Thanks for actually answering to the origimal question. That's what I assumed. Only glaring discrepancy I could find is the gasket on the ProWin being a tad bit taller. This is the place I'll start. Btw and fyi: The OEM MTR16 mags are 20 rds not 35. But even comparing Stanag OEM TM mags it is...

Answering as many as I can. Let's go. Pros of the Mags: The ProWin EVO mags, hold 50 rds instead of 20 rds (MTR16) mags. They hold more and stronger gas than TM OEM mags without any modification. They are noticeably lighter compared to even the short 20 rds MTR16 mags. The gas-intake is on...

May I humbly ask: Why have a forum this size only to stick to statements like "keep the gun as stock as possible"? - Isn't all this to exchange experience and help each make MWS-dreams come true? From what I read through 250 pages of MWS-glory-forum-posts a vast majority of people here are...
