    I Swore off doing site reviews or playing Airsoft at all beyond the AFUK Mall game this month... However the Mrs just told me to have fun next Saturday...I really do want to try out either Hockley or the newly re-opened Bush Valley. Watch this space ;)

    Can anyone link me to high tension replacement springs for AEG Mid Cap magazines? Need some so my DTD M4 Magazine adapter will feed properly with my mags. Cheers!

    It does feel great @BibbsOnTour but I already have an MEU mag pistol and its unusable in the winter with the small gas capacity, I think the Desert Warrior has a heavier slide then the Strike Warrior as well...

    Maybe I should be sensible and complete my French loadout with a PAMAS (M92 Beretta copy)

    Ahh I've not got a GBB pistol (or any side arm) as yet so I'm not that knowledgeable on them but yeah I reckon you should complete that loadout!

    After my triumphant first barrel, hop tensioner and bucking change on a pistol I decided to change the inner barrel on my Tm AUG HC to a prommy one. Looks to have gone quite well :D Nub back in successfully.

    @Iceni - I'm always astonished by your knowledge of Airsoft AUGs. It was great reading that, and I don't even own an AUG! :)

    You should write a definitive guide to airsoft AUGs ;)

    I've considered it a few times, But the list of mods for them is pretty extensive and not all apply to all models or gun builds. I will do one at some point, but it will be long and as detailed as I can make it. As such it's not something I can enter into without setting time aside to get into the meat of them.

    The hop is probably the hardest part to get right. It's too easy to not understand what it actually does in addition to hopping. And when it's wrong you get a gun that will appear to have every problem under the sun. The symptoms can look like short airseal nozzles, mis-feeds, double feeds, total failure to feed, body pins falling out, Gearbox rattle.  Shimming an Aug barrel can cause all of the same problems as well... The unit and barrel has to move freely.

    No problems with my Aug after barrel goes in. The High Cycle seems to have a pretty decent barrel set. Unit and barrel is moving freely.

    Just picked up my new KSG. Love the feel of it. I was surprised that the pump action was very loose in the first centimetre or so. Is this normal on your KSG's?

    Had a very interesting day at Red 1 The Fort today. Review will be forthcoming within 24 hours. Unfortunately it was so cold that the Tavor wouldn't fire more then 25 shots even with red gas!

    Toying with the idea of getting a Real Steel Famas Full length top rail. Not sure about compatibility though. I know one french guy got it working with a bit of dremelling on a Cybergun one. Its a £165 risk. Shall I take it?

    Just did my first bit of teching. Replaced the Bucking and barrel and installed an I-key tensioner onto my TM Strike Warrior. Seems to have done the trick! I was going to replace the hop unit entirely, but the 1911 Maple leaf hop unit is not quite compatible with the Detonics slide system.

    New SE Tour Site reviews are coming soon! We'll be heading to EAG Dorking on the 12th and Plantation on the 19th of August. Let me know if any of you will be at those sites on those days! I'll be trying out some of my latest purchases :)

    You'll enjoy EAG. A very good woodland site.

    Some folks don't agree with the owner/Marshall's (they can be quite.. dry), but they are good folks once you get to know them. John runs a fun day.

    Only negative is that they do not promote more bullpup usage. I feel so alone :(

    I have updated the original post of the SE Tour - Airsoft Billericay review with some new information.

    Unfortunately I wont be bringing you my Airsoft Plantation review as I didn't go! My battle buddy had to cancel. I ended up going to Airsoft Billericay on my todd. I will update the current review thread with more insights. 

    I will be bringing you a review of The Mall in the next week though!
