KiloFourTwo X Tactical Index | EVO Impact

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to introduce KiloFourTwo and share our new website:

We've been working on the EVO project in collaboration with Tactical Index, featuring designs by Lucas and UK production by KiloFourTwo.

The project combines 3D printing, product design and the airsoft hobby. We've put together the website to showcase the range, available colour options and some videos of the products.

It's been a proper hands-on project, with plenty of time spent printing, refining presentation and getting everything looking right.

We're proud to be producing our work here in the UK and wanted to share it with the AFUK community.

Feel free to have a look at the site and let us know what you think and grab some to play with, Available in 209 and 9mm

They look smart.
Before I pull the trigger (or pin 🤣)
May I ask (appreciate your ‘disclaimer) what the expected useable life of these are? Hard plastic being thrown around?

I have the other brand metal items and although heavy, those may outlast me 🤪.
Cheers

Cheers mate, and thanks!

It's a fair question. Obviously, being 3D printed, these aren't indestructible, and I wouldn't claim they'll have the same lifespan as a metal grenade.

They're designed for airsoft use, but how long they last will depend on the surfaces they're landing on and how they're treated, as most sites should hopefully say that grenades need to be posted below knee height, I'm very confident they will survive many many throws

I've had very few reported failures so far which is encouraging (in fact two and both were from the same guy who admitted he just fucking yeeted them 😂)

But they're still relatively new, so I'd rather be upfront than promise a specific number of throws that I can't honestly guarantee.

But I do print everything at 100% infil which uses alot of material but that way they are solid

Hope that helps!

For what it's worth I've got one of the FRAG-C grenades which has a polymer body (not sure exactly what) and it's still going strong after a couple of years of use
