M249 MK1 Owners - Need a favour

I’m looking for somebody with an AEG M249 Mk1 (Like in the image) that can send me a few photos

I need:
A clear photo of how the carry handle is attached to the barrel
How far the rear sight is from the back flat part of the lid
The gas block regulator plug and how it attach

Any and all help greatly appreciated

I've gone through 2 M249's so far, but currently have none for pictures. Weirdly, I do still have the front gas block assembly because I got rid of it on one as it was annoying me. The front rotating assembly is grub screws I think, and the rear half of it section is spring loaded and held in place by the outer barrel assembly (and thus falls out when you accidentally catch the barrel release lever mid game - ask me how I know. Also ask why I then subsequently drilled through the outer barrel so I could stop that happening by adding grub screws).

Barrel quick swap handle is attached the outer barrel (duh) and from the look of the exploded diagram is either grub screw or pin (probably grub screw).

Rear sight, don't know. I do have some random PDF I downloaded from somewhere which has more of a guide on how various parts go together, but not those specifically and the pictures are a bit ropey. Can DM if helpful.

The plan is to convert my VFC M249 into something that will pass off as a MK1 M249 for my 80's LARPing needs. The prominently different bits being the carry handle and gas regulator

Update/Edit - Found somewhere selling the A&K carry handle and can confirm it will not work with the VFC without extensive modifcation (Which is beyond my capabilities)

Drilling, threading, welding (Maybe?)


The A&K one has the holes on the side ^


The VFC M249 has the holes on the bottom but that also holds the hop unit assembly etc too
