After a chat with the lovely strikejd about the Desert Eagle he had listed that was exactly how I wanted to build mine up, I moved away from the idea of a pistol scope and hunted for a suitable red dot instead. Spent hours trawling Google looking for a cheap ultra dot or aim point 5000 or clone of either, I came across lots of discussion about tasco pro point red dots, they were considerably cheaper and could be had in silver, unfortunately it would have meant buying second hand from the good old US of A, I was about to give in and order one when I stumbled upon a BNIB pro point on eBay for sale in the UK for an absolute bargain price. Snapped that sucker up quicker than Bill snatches up weird gear. Very excited for it to arrive so I can get the build going.

Its a heavyweight ABS, with an internal metal chassis.

Always had a soft spot for the Aug A1 since watching Running Man in the late 80's, my JG Aug was one of the first rif's in my current collection & was a lovely shade of *blue (still is in places), I have plans to turn this Novoritsch SSR77 into an H-Bar... I'll keep you posted.

I read that the Novoritsch was mag fussy & yup, it's true, none of my midcaps are compatible but a random Hicap is.

I was kinda worried when I saw the packaging tho...

You could have got a GHK but you went with novvy boi.

I'ts repro as there's no tags inside but considering I paid £100 for a semi molle a few months ago I thought i'd have a punt and see if I won lol

It's got a little bit of damage. one of the straps that go round the side has come unstitched but it's included and I can sort that with a needle and thread so it's not a problem

Parts to upgrade my T238 Lite
I don’t have a 3d printer, so reached out to them after a recommendation.
Just a small quality of life upgrade

First VFC handgun, and only second non-TM or TM clone handgun I have owned. AAP-01 is the only other non-TM / TM clone I own (and that doesn't see too much use)

Wanted something with a metal slide that was properly optic ready (I hate RMR mounts that replace the rear sight), wasn't super common, and didn't require me to swap out all the externals. Still got a few parts coming from Asia (2x spare mags, threaded barrel + compensator, and a dummy 9mm suppressor with proper markings for if I feel like that instead of the compensator)

Very nice. As someone with a bit of a thing for German guns I'm surprised that there aren't more Walther replicas from umarex/VFC available considering they're part of the same company

I scored a Silver one from my local surplus shop for £25. . Gotta decide what gun to buy and get cerakoted stainless now. lol
