MP5 Selector Switch

Hi all, has anyone had any luck sourcing an aftermarket part the the above? I have a Cyma MP5 platinum shell that I’ve upgraded and love the gun… only thing I hate is the selector switch. It’s always clunky, the selector cam (piece that moves the plate from switch) is terrible and wears fast… so surprised there’s not some stronger polymer/metal coated parts about. Wish there was a round rotational switch available like real mp5’s have.

If no one has found anything, anyone got any tips to improve?

Have a scout around the 3d print sights. I need a cam plate for a twenty year old ( wish ) JG / Dboys and apparently there available 3d printed. IF you can’t find what you need hit up someone to design and print you one.

I can do some simple design stuff but i’d need reference pictures and dimensions

The problem is that the design itself is clunky and even taking into account using better materials. It's always going to feel a little bit mushy and is very easy to break.

My solution was to get an SEF lower receiver. Loses the ambidextrous selector. But gains a much more tactile and robust one.

That was my solution also; it is also far less of a faff when working on the RIF.

Which SEF Lower Receiver did you both get - compatible with CYMA MP5? Even if a little modification is needed that would work as well

I have Classic Army ones on my CYMA MP5 SD2 and CYMA MP5K; from memory, I don't think they required any modification.

I also have one on an SRC MP5.

Mine is a Classic Army lower replacing the classic army Navy lower. However its interchangable with the Cyma
