Have a Battlesim coming up and you can carry a rifle, pistol and concealed weapon for jail breaks etc etc if caught. Last time I played a Battlesim I hid a rubber knife in one boot and a Mk5 in the other and nearly escaped (didn't really got hosed down with auto fire after 10 steps) and thought one of these might be a good fun addition so I can at least return fire.
Seen shotgun shells in walking sticks and various other ideas but like the idea of clipping this inside my belt / rig somewhere for an escape attempt.

I've recently decided to play more often and to use different rif's each time, as a result I thought I'd want to use my MP40, Sten & L2A3 at some point. Pouches for the MP40 & Sten were easy to find but pouches specifically for the L2A3 mags are rarer than unicorn poo so might end up using my 58 pattern webbing, the mags do fit in the sten bandolier but are a bit tight...

As previously stated, I got a WE CQB M4 to build an L119A1 clone-ish but the flash hider was CW and for me it's iconic to the L119A1, ordered this DB M4 which came today.
Still waiting on the Flash Hider to arrive but this is the build so far...
p.s. Not sure if I prefer the Acog or the Eotech.
p.s.s. I know the waffle stock isn't quite correct but frankly the butt pad is too big for the retro stock I have.

Nice. Both ACOG and Eotech sights have been seen in use so either would work but the ACOG does appear to be more commonly used of the two.

Arrived today.
Yes, I am aware they are meant to be awful, but I like to find out myself! And it was cheap (well, cheap enough to take a risk on)
The mags leak like sieve, it’s heavier than dark matter, but it seems very nice so far.
Externals seem very well made (apart from the plastic bipod clamp, that looks very delicate). I’m hoping the internals are not made of cheese or a cheese equivalent, but knowing Ares I’m expecting a Camembert/brie level of toughness.
The bolt is steel at least.
A couple of shots to test seemed good accuracy over 60 feet, but longer range will tell. I’d like to at least put a better hop and/or barrel in, but again, knowing Ares, that may be a challenge.
I’ve previously had an Ares WA2000 that I tried to do the same, which was a nightmare.
I’ll update my progress if I remember

My lite chassis and recon stock arrived for my Tac 41 today. I am always impressed with silverback's plastic quality, I don't think I've come across any airsoft gun that uses better feeling plastic. I still have the full length barrel that came it came with so I'm going to design and print a rail for it to give it more of a CSR look. I also want to print a grip and thumb hole stock to look like the KRG Chassis but for now I like the recon stock enough that I'm not in a rush to replace it

Ive always been quietly tempted with one of these because they look just so cooool…..

I just bought a Noveske Gettoblaster. iI s loud. and seems to be a pickky thing. doesn't seem to like old mags only new ones XD

Is it a picky thing, one bad apple or is there a user error? I know two Ghetto Blaster users who have no problem with mags apart from the newer TM mags with the differently shaped feed lips. I also know a GBB tech who rates it highly.

Not sure, when i looked at the mags the spring release catch on the old ones was worn down more than the new ones. Not really had time to take it apart and check. I am away from home for a few weeks for work. so I will tackle it then. i just blame my mates mags XD as it liked mine fine lol

That's an interesting purchase - make sure to give us a review once you have had a chance to try it out - on paper at least, it's a tempting package!
I’ve just done the same, never played a Battlesim before so not sure what to expect from being held hostage.
I’m tempted to hide a grenade on me, and take us all out.
Scream unintelligibly in Japanese before you pull the pin give everyone a certain age call of duty world at war flashbacks.
At our first event one of the faction leaders wore a bomb vest t-shirt below the rest of his clothing, went for a stroll, walked into the back of enemy HQ, lifted up his top to show the t-shirt announcing his presence as “bang, you’re all dead”
Our recent team recruit on his first experience of Marshalling took the decision of allowing the kills and radioed in to check if that’s OK and if I recall correctly the guy was still there to check if it would be valid again if he repeated)
I approved the correct decision, (in our twisted team principles) and told him do definitely approve a repeat if they are stupid enough to let him walk in the back again
(And he did it again)
In the post game wash up and pretty much every team meet up I banned everyone’s ideas of how we could make players into (simulated) suicide bombers - including strapping smoke grenades to players
(Our events became sponsored by a pyro company, but were not at that time)
It took two years our tech guy produced a safe but “functioning” bomb vest (all the Hollywood style tubes and wires, with a remote control system for the bomber to detonate planted pyro in a safe place plus a system for defenders to disable the bomber

I should have a photo set somewhere of a “bomber” running towards his target zone - I remember taking those pictures more than the pictures as I was up running whilst twisted around not looking where I was going, stumbled, almost planted my lens and recovered my dive to continue
Top tip - don’t drive around with a constructed bomb vest, don’t even keep it at home*, and whether it does anything or is just a dummy make sure the organisers are happy with it
* this is a prop that he dismantles and rebuilds whenever required
