Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

god damn

Ah yes. The "fU1lY uPgR4d3d" where there is no list of upgrades. I'm not having a dig at Combat South, it's on the seller to tell give the details. He hasn't even specified whether the G&G Predator is the CM16 polymer or GC16 metal flavour of receiver.

That generation of G&G guns is among the worst to resell as they aged badly with Specna Arms and DE undercutting the G&G with their products at the same time while selling arguably a better spec.

The seller is surely better off splitting that bundle into smaller ones to avoid being lowballed by Joe Public. What are the odds that somebody is going to want that whole loadout and see it being worth his asking price?

I'm not saying the seller is dodgy or that the eye pro has faults but surely an extra £15 for brand new from the brand's direct sales channel is more than worth the peace of mind with the most important part of anyone's loadout?

I kinda treat eyepro like a motorcycle helmet or child car seat; never buy used.

Tricky one.

Vehicle accident equipment is designed as a one-shot self-sacrificing structure, whereas we expect eyepro to take hit after hit after hit.

So good eyepro should be good enough to be bought secondhand.

Not sure i'd do it without being able to inspect it though.

god damn
Now down to a grand with some detail given on the upgrades. Apparently it's £250 worth but that doesn't specify if that's parts only or parts and labour. The gun already has an ETU so simply saying it as an ECU is meaningless without context. Does that ECU as he called it allow more than switching between full auto and a 3-round burst.

I get not every player is technical or detail oriented but some product knowledge won't go amiss to allow others to truly asses its value. No, I DON'T mean the "I know what I've got" sort of people.

Seller hasn't specified the brand and model of the two RIFs but wants 300 smackeroonies. I have a good idea of what they both are but that's not the point.

More importantly, he won't accept Paypal. He must be trustworthy.

The seller wants £275 for the gun and case (I wouldn't consider the spring to be worthy of being factored into the price. Without the mag, that price should be much closer to £240.

The effort put into the first ad already shows that nobody should go for it.

Anybody down to trade a car/motorbike for this?

Not sure they could've made less of an effort for that shit show of an advert

Is it just do or are there a lot of people who just join here to through up an ad. For me it’s an instant red flag if that accounts been set up 2 mins before an ad is posted. Particularly when no efforts been made to rotate a damn picture 😂

The rotate thing is a bug because the images are uploaded from a mobile. Usually going into the phones gallery and rotating once then re uploading fixes it. My theory is a picture taken by a phone being held sideways displays normally on the phone but something in the metadata says it rotated 90 degrees and the forums displays that instead.

The seller wants £800 for a gun, 8 mags and a case, worth less than £700 in total by the ~70% rule.

"Never Skirmished N4" Described as new yet there are paint pen initials on one of the mags, paint pen markings on the upper, a cable tie tag suggesting it had passed at least one chrono test for a skirmish, scuffs on the stock, paint chips on the magwell along with small paint chips on the flash hider.

What else has the seller failed to disclose?

I remember having this issue when certain photos got taken with HDR on or in the filename. So annoying!
