Hello,
I have just bought a whirlygig 3 from 40 max 120 round grenade.
Filled it with gas then bbs and threw it.
No BBs but it spat all the gas out.
Tried it afew more times by removing the bbs and trying again and the same instance happened.
Am I doing something wrong? Any whirlygig users out there who can advice me?
Thanks

Is it a copy of the ASG storm grenade? If so I'd send it back for a refund. The design is notoriously unreliable and even when they do work often people don't even realise they've been hit as they're so low powered.

Spend a bit more and get a proper BFG

Hello,
The reason I am switching for gas grenades is because my hearing is now damaged and close impact bfgs go straight through my ear pro hence why I am getting gas for close up. (still used timed for far away)
It looks very familiar to the storm.
I thought the Crytac tornado 3 looked good apparently thats 330 fps on .2s.
Thanks

Tbh that sounds (no pun intended) like more of an ear pro issue. Also please tell me you're not yeeting BFGs, having taken a quake grenade to the face it's not something I'd want to experience again or see it happen to someone else

I'd take that with a huge pinch of salt, I don't think I've ever been on the receiving end of any gas grenade which felt remotely close to 1j of energy from the bb

I use 3m peltor protac shooters with foam plugs underneath and still my ears hurt with bfg impacts . I think its the acoustic shock that can travel through bone conductivity or the over pressure, also dosent help that my right ear drum has damage from previous exposure. The only bfg I use now is a timed and only under arm throws with a 30 ft bowl at my field (no blind throws). So that dosent happen. Regarding the krytac ones the videos I see online are pretty decent especially independent reviews. Seems to throw them out with some right force.

Also when I throw the timed about 5 meters from me it makes a major difference regarding the pain in my ears (my ears dont hurt at all combined with the ear pro), I think thats abit of evidence that the over pressure is there.
