Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

Posted in the wrong place and wants £50 for a 30 year old springer
Sorry mate, i edited his post to prevent any possible sale emerging before he's met the sales criteria, but i didn't even look at his price etc, definitely a dreamer lol

Ah but all 3 of the mags are gas tight which is incredibly bloody rare for a Makarov 😉

I wont deny we gats and leaky mags are a common pairing, but the makarov mags ime are the exception that proves the rule.

Maybe you're thinking of the ksc, and if there's a non leaky ksc mag i've yet to meet it......

I guess maybe the holster is what he thinks is bumping the price? Nothing else indicates anything but a stock makarov and they aint that expensive.....

£200 retail, is a bit expensive imo but expensive is different to everybody

I mean i'm a makarov stan so it seems reasonable to me :P

Sadly I didn't have that experience with the three I've had over the years, all of them arrived with leaky mags 😂

I only had 2 and i think 4 mags total? But all 4 mags needed zero attention.

Compared to say the ct25 or luger which had a 0-6 ratio for holding gas even with tinkering.

Well at least you don't know straight away the dreaming price he's asking for them

I find ads like that so frustrating, no details on what the actual RIFs are and no idea on pricing, means i have to waste time contacting them to find out I dont want it lol

I don't understand why sellers like that think being lazy and cagey with details is a good thing.

The more information you give upfront, the more leverage you have to see your asking price being met. The less information you give, the less certainty you give a buyer, giving them more room to haggle over.

Exactly, listing like that is 100% you message them, and they just turn around and say "Make me an offer," which either means they know what it's worth and they are hoping you say more, or they are clueless and hoping you will know lol

Similarly you can make a deliberately insulting lowball offer. He'll cry bloody murder but you can counter by saying because he didn't give much useful information about what he's selling, you're taking on the risk regardless without a clue of actual market value.

I think Airsoft Cam Man himself hates "make me an offer" and he lowballed in response but the seller accepted. I don't think it happened just once either. :ROFLMAO:
