On a more serious note, I give it a few hours before those images are found on eBay or another platform, with exactly the same wear pattern on the receiver and outer barrel.

I buy things to sell from a local auction.Interesting photo, someone got raided:
There have been quite a few times where items have had police evidence tags on them, and I’ve bought some of them
I would hazard a guess that those have been sold on by the police force following a raid, perhaps due to other reasons such as drugs or there is the potential that violent types get banned from air weapons so a stretch could go to Airsoft being confiscated especially if used for bad purposes such as threats of violence
It could also be a raid that turned out to be fine, but they / their partner decided to sell up
(Not to forget the guy who came on here a few years ago to get justification for paintball type Home Defence style paintball guns in his bedside cabinet but failed to mention the other reasons behind the raid …. It’s on this forum somewhere with the court case details )

Lmfao the home defense Airsoft types really are nutcases
There’s plenty nutcases to go around
(This guy however would most likely be classified as chav with a gun/guns)
I do find that the type of people who do go for “home defence” don’t seem to understand that something used by people for recreational fun is going to be at best useless up against a burglar/attacker with their adrenaline up and potential willingness to use a proper weapon, and at worst case when you shoot them may sting the burglar/attacker annoying them further.
Even worse is not shooting a bit of plastic/gelatine/rubber and you have a burglar in fear of their life thinking it might be real
Instead of a burglar who is likely to run off when disturbed, they then have an angry burglar
