First, my apologies if this topic is misplaced.

I've just installed a Gate Titan basic (G36). It cycles just fine, but it shoots semi no matter the selector setting (on safe, semi and auto).

Did I f up the selector-sticker placement, or is the problem in the gearbox?

Gear sensor seems to look fine, backlash is fine.

did you calibrate it in the software?

that'll give you a pretty good idea what the unit thinks it's seeing when you move the selector.

Good point. That is assuming he's setting up using the software on PC or phone and not just bolting it in and hoping for the best.

Nope, I don't have the link. I'll check at a shop.

I've installed the safety thingy, so it can't shoot in safe, and I'm only gonna use semi anyway. No rush ATM.

But thanks!

You should really think about getting a link, not being able to program it kinda defeats the point of a programmable mosfet in the first place.

Surprised it didnt come with a link to begin with.

The basic doesn't come with a link

just the advanced and expert with either a link or blu link

Yep. Sure, programming is nice, but I really just want something that doesn't take up space in the tube and allows me to spam semi. No fancy active braking, precocking or whatever

Make sure the sticker is in the correct place.

Buy the cable, which you should of researched before buying, then calibrate.

Sort out any errors that come up.

When you have it up and running, it is well worth it.

Could well be.

Only really dealt with the advanced because otherwise i'd just run a warfet and not have the hassle.
