So back on the subject of passion for airsoft, after getting off a plane at 5:30 I've just spent nearly £800 on new stuff...

needless to say that playing in Sweden has reinvigorate love for the sport but I hope it doesn't get ruined by playing back at home ????

Hey. ?

I can’t believe it £800, I wish I had that much to spend! ?

Have a Great time.... Swedish babes! ? ?

Bring back some pics & vids? ?

Beauty of investing money, sometimes it works in your favor. Other times it doesn't.

I'm back now, will be uploading a review in the coming days if I can be bothered and can do @Asomodai any form of justice with my writing flare.

I am just a hack fraud these days. Copying and pasting from previous reviews. Ticking boxes ;)

I may or may not follow your mantra for that and just go with the ever so well laid out template you have created ;)

I can say that my love for airsoft is much better than it was, even when I started all those years ago.  Think it is down to technology and a much wider selection to be had.  Also the people who I airsoft with.

For those that can relate on this page! ?

check out my AF Playlist topic! ?

keep an eye out for the main word PASSION! ?

feeling the op so much in this. well in certain ways. started airsoft when unemployed to get me doing something and made good mates with afew on site. played a while til we formed a team. was great for a while. was always a douche bag team in the local ste but we played the game rather than trying to properly compete. was grand til  few others got invited to the team I didn't know. . especially one geardo whom really didn't fit with the squad considering I had designed and made our original patches and allhe wanted new. which after a year I was planning anyway. by this point I was working and fitting airsoft round it a you do but without a vote or anything he had bought a website for the tem. ordered patches and t-shirts of his design(which was lets say inferior) at the same time our site was moving and he decided to make the new site name the first word in the patch, which pissed off the other local teams as they were like you don't own the site(to be fair I wanted to do it like sons of anarchy style so we could have teams at other sites, and I had asked the site owner  whom said sure) really pissed off the douch bag team lol. at this point I just stepped back as said it was x player so he got the abuse. anyway over the weeks the site changed its mind and decided it was closing down... making the nest site too far away for often play so me and mine left it at that to fade. idiot hd somewhat ruined it for us and made himself look a twatt. and without saying anything a few weeks later joined another team. still hasn't officially told us.

but anyway have since new job and moved. new job means longer days but more days off so hopefully can play a bit more often soon as I get settled into new house that also happens to be walking distance of an indoor site which is closer to my friends who play. again planning to restart playing with them but for me ill be controlling it better. play for fun working it together trying to help some. competitive players wont suit us. (I may well run screaming at kids trying to scare em but I will also let em use my spare slings etc and usually let em keep em. but then whats a team to you. a group of competitors or  bunch of friends wearing the same patch? not opposed to being the team that people join to figure what they want in a team then pointing them to a team that matches that.

anyway sorry for the blocks of text. just wanna shows support. people suck... :)

And this thread is why I will never be synchronising my dress-up wardrobe with anyone.
I don't think others share your worrying passion for all things beige (sorry tan, coyote, flat dark earth) anyway. Must be an age thing.

100% with Tackle and trigger on this , teams can be the saving grace of the sport (the one I’m in for one) OR can drive you from it (unfortunately your experience) . The one I’m in there’s seven of us , team started about 13yrs ago and I was invited to join about a yr after that now ? I’m the only original left (the guys in now joined over the following yrs) the other originals all left the sport for the usual reasons . We don’t have a team leader all decisions/instructions/etc are by individual members or as a group (one guy was an actual infantry skills instructor so perfect team leader if we wanted one!) we just trust each other if one says “quick get over there !” Or another says “pull back from there and get round the side” it’s because they’ve seen something I hadn’t , not because there’s a great battle plan in there head ! If they did they’d get a very swift “ feck off ya twat !” ?

we’re fairly well know in our home area as much for our light hearted take on the game and general friendliness as much as anything ( we’re always getting asked to keep an eye on a new guy who’s on his own by the marshalling team) BUT you cross us and we switch on , by end of day you will regret it . We all use comm’s so are quite effective due to it (when we’re not taking the piss out of each other that is!) on the very rare occasion someone has earned our ire we have made it our our objective to ruin there day for them .

Example a well known aggressive player thought it was funny to hose a kiddy when confronted he gave the standard bully reply of “its only a toy gun if you can’t take it then don’t play !” SO we and a few other regulars spent the entire morning hunting him (with the blessing of the head marshal) and when he was spotted passing the location to all others involved via comm’s and giving him a bit of his own medicine , he packed up and left by lunch time !

To me this is what a team should be , a collective of friends (we all socialise as well) having a good time together but when needed can and will work very effectively together .

AND an example of a bad team ? at the NAE on Saturday bumped in to a very nice young lad from a real ‘gung ho!’ Team we know , asked where’s the rest of the team to be told he didn’t know (he looked on the verge of tears) as he’d been excluded from the team because he’d upset one of the two team ‘leaders’ and was camping on his own ! ? So we invited him to join our encampment and spend the wknd with us , yesterday morning as we were packing up to leave he gave us all a big thank you and said he was going to jack it all in but after the way we treated him he’s not and his now ex team can go and Royaly fuck off ! ???
I just read this and that is exactly why i started. I have made the decision that around December i will be returning to Airsoft. I'm keeping my MTP gear but i will rarely use it. Instead i am going with my old loadout and putting khaki BDU trousers on, i tried to patch things up with my former team mate and he ignored me so i've let go of that aspect. I still have friends and i will continue to take younger players under my wing when i play, and just link up with random people as i go. It took a while, but i'm here in the end.

December! ?

Always good to go back to how you started with your gear! ?

At least you tried to sort out the issue!

The last part is so TRUE!!! ?

WELCOME BACK!!! ?

My passion for airsoft has seemed to come and go with relationships oddly enough. None of my long term school/work/home mates are interested, so on two occasions now I've got back into it through boyfriend's of my girlfriend's mates.

Mate, what are you on!?

Being POSITIVE, is my PASSION, especially when it comes to AIRSOFT! ?

Plus you don’t know what I do for a living or personally know me, so why are you judging me....

THINK, BEFORE YOU TYPE!!! ?

You're being judged on how you present yourself on the forum. If you don't want people to think you write like a clickbait writer don't format like one. You won't BELIEVE how EASY it is!

I mean, you do you, but don't be upset when people point out how you stand out.

Believe me I thought about it, also if you can’t take a bit of light ribbing then please put a snowflake next to your name, you seem to love all the other emojis.

Don’t get me wrong your posts are positive just sometimes a tad odd...

You’re right I don’t know you or your profession however I’m making my judgement of you as a person from the way you’ve presented yourself through your posts, exactly the same as I expect you to have done about me and every other member of this forum.

Eitherway the OP has finally decided to ditch his ex team and continue doing what he enjoyed and getting back into it, good on you mate. Hopefully you find a few people who you regularly play with to message on a Friday and ask if they’re plastic slinging that weekend.

@GAMBLE ignore them because nothing you post is offensive and you are not talking bullshit just being a happy person, which is refreshing.

Carry on doing you and fuck others and their opinions as the only opinions that matter are opinions of people who matter.

What I said was meant to be taken in a lighthearted way, Just so you know. You do you!
