cheaters (rant)

Yup, I've done that before.. actually got the nickname "No-mag" for a few games where I'd forgotten to put a mag in around three times in one day.

Me and an enemy player were in the same cross roads at epsom tunnels, we didnt realise we were on other teams and were actually defending together for a few mins, when we realised we both called ourselves out and headed back to spawn. There was an unspoken gentlemans agreement to just back off and not shoot each other. Was tense at the time, but funny looking back

That's like the Airsoft equivalent of the Christmas Day WW1 Football match.

Dry fired at people plenty of times at The Mall, normally most people take it and laugh about it. One time I got shot.... :(   cant get lucky all the time.

To be fair I wouldnt take it and would have shot me too :P

haha really was. Its cos Im a sneaky fecker and got back behind the op team and came from his spawn direction, I think I assumed our team pushed up too. Was a couple of mins before we both really acknowledged each other and realised. We both laughed and skulked off.

I spent a few minutes with what was clearly an opposing player stood behind me as I was taking his mates out. All he kept shouting was "COLOUR?". Had me dead to rights. If I'd turned around to try to fire he'd have got me. So I ignored him and kept on taking out his team through the window. He seemed really miffed when he finally had to shoot me.

I'm not going to call a lie, but by not calling at all he seemed to think I was cheating.

Lol. If I call colour and you don't answer you're getting shot

Did have a funny incident a few weeks ago.

I was trying to be all sneaky beaky and work my way in among the enemy line of advance. All of a sudden this guy appears out of nowhere. Looks at me, i clock his armband colour and shoot him with a quick burst from about 10 feet away. he dives behind a tree and shouts friendly (friendly fire is a kill on our site, so i don't know what his game was), He steps out from the tree so i shot him again, pointed to my opposing team coloured armband smile and walk off. I don't think he was happy with me lol.

I’m not a fan of the whole calling out your colour thing either , unless it’s a stipulation in the safety brief (only time I’ve ever encountered it and can see why it was in place was at a CQB site were you could and did literally walk in to the opposition it was such a’rabbit warren of a site) I won’t use it or answer it my self , if you get the drop on me and can’t see my team colour and you genuinely think I’m an enemy ? Only need a single in too me and your either getting an “good shot !” Or “I’m on your team you plank !”

Conversely, if you bark out "Colour?" without telling me yours, you should expect to be answered with incoming BBs.  Not because you're necessarily on the opposing team, just for being Sergeant Shouty.  If you want to tell me yours, that's great, please do.

Eurgh, some people run around shouting "COLOUR" expecting you to answer like its some kind of auto radar ping or COD UAV or something.

If you dont know im in the room I will not answer, simples! when you then walk in and get shot that is YOUR fault for announcing yourself before coming in., not mine!

had this happen once, in a push game (defending team 1 life per zone) we were pushing through the second zone trying to find the last man.

guy ahead of me gets bang killed but it didn't seem right, so i walk up to the bush aiming square at the guys forehead and asked if he was out.

poor chap had the wrong reaction, i saw a silencer move in the bush and reactions i shouldn't posess sent a bb straight into his forehead at point blank.

turned out afterwards he'd been having technical troubles and the guy ahead of me mistakenly took a bang kill, i felt so guilty seeing him walk around with a welt on his forehead for the rest of the day.

gave me a lot of sympathy for the likes of soldiers/armed police in terms of having to make judgement calls at a split second with poor information and getting it wrong meaning people die.

I've never played anywhere with a bang rule enforced. Been to a couple who say feel free to use it but don't complain if they turn around and shoot you

my way of understanding is if they try to do that rail em anyway, and if you haven't got enough of a drop on them to do that then it's not a proper bang kill.

tbh these days mostly i'd just give them a shot on semi to somewhere un-sensitive, or switch to pistol.

had it once a chap ran up and took cover behind the other side of my barrel, when he popped his head he found the end of my silencer was directly on his face and oh boy did i not want to shoot him at that range, we're talking literal inches to goggles.

got riddled by his team mates, but i suppose it was worth it for the "oh ****" expression on his face

There is no such thing as a proper bang kill. I have come through a door and had a guy hiding the other side literally put the muzzle of his gun on my arm expecting me to take it. He should of pulled the trigger to save himself the walk.

Had lots of people try and bang kill me and have never been the one to go back to regen yet.

Bang kill never works and is bullshit plain and simple.

Also wrong use of the term "rail them"

Well, looky at who sees themselves as the protagonist.

I was thinking more along the lines of:

... which might actually be doable against those players who run .45s in pistols.

Nah the reason the bang bollocks is easy to beat is because they shout it and either hesitate or just expect you to take it and stop paying attention.

Either one gives you chance to dodge sideways and fire.  Everytime so far they have either missed or just been caught out.

I never hesitate and always go for the shot as CQB is all about quick reactions.

My bang kills always work. I have a special voice that stops the dog running after a cat. I once stopped a robber with it (true story).

Brown pants situation. I do it when I'm behind you, have the drop on you and I shout "drop it" not bang, so that I think also confuses the victim a little.

I wish we could try it @ImTriggerHappy The unstoppable force meeting the immovable object. :)
