Hi there guys. Before you just say 'replace the feed nipple' I already have, with the steel version from AW. <_<

I've recently done some gearbox work, installing:

SHS full steel toothed piston

Spring guide with bearings

Systema m100 spring

Element Silent cylinder head & piston head

Shims

6mm bushings

Element delayer (NOT YET DELIVERED-AWAITING INSTALL)

Steel feed nipple

Adapter for large type battery

New nozzle (NOT YET DELIVERED-AWAITING INSTALL)

The problem: The gun is feeding, but is not firing each shot. The individual BBs just stay in the hop up unit, then shoot out in groups of 5 or 6. The gearbox is 'blowing' into the hop unit. The tappet is pushing the BBs into the hop unit correctly, but they just roll out of the barrel. Yes, I do have hop rubbers installed correctly.

I've already ordered a new hop unit, with the same story as the delayer and nozzel.

ANY help appreciated!

I had this with my BE AUG, it was a faulty mag.

the spring was jamming causing misfeeds.

got a replacement mag and that fixed it.

I found a youtube vid of a guy with the same problem on his AUG.

the plot thickens...

You don't realise how grateful I am that you posted that! I dug out the original magazine from my pile of parts, and it worked like a charm! Looks like AW have some refunding to do...

Its amazing that something so simple can be such a pain in the butt.

my original mag locks. The spring winds but irregularly unravels.

I was holding it yesterday, it was full of bbs and I was trying to fix when suddenly the spring unwound and shot all the BBs from the forechamber out at once, blasting the ceiling, littering the room and crapping me up no end...

glad that was it dude!
