Yes, the technical thing - just enabling multifactor authentication would be a deterrent to spam accounts in itself, and also make it slightly less likely for accounts to be compromised (Not impossible, just a more difficult).
Maybe worthwhile considering requiring 2FA for access to marketplace, as it could be enough of a deterrence for scammers to not bother (would also make identifying repeat offenders easier theoretically).

Had two of them fly over the top of my section at about 50ft on an attack run about 40 years ago, felt like the end of the world........

2fa shouldn't be an issue and could even work in our favour by garnering more readers and maybe posters once they realise this place is half decent

All Jez's doing, looks good, but likely to be a stopgap, at some point fairly soon we'll just start deleting ads, & repeat offenders will get warnings, if they still can't get their shit together, at some point they themselves will disappear like their ads, the whole point is to protect the honest members, so "I forgot" repeatedly might be an indication of something else ? ?

Yeah it's a bit of a ballache to have to add this photo to each ad I see that breaks the rule
