Selling my STAR (later become Ares) L85A2 with real steel front rail machined to fit.
Was originally the A2 carbine model with the L86 plastic front end, then changed to be the A1 version with the full length front end and extended barrel. Now the A2 version but al the aforementioned included.
Fires like the day it was bought and comes with a fixed 4x Eclan Specter DR scope (can’t remember make), real steel grip pod, a working Elements LLM01 (eats batteries), and a cheep battery PEQ box for your battery if you can’t fit it in the RIS (no batteries supplied). Front wired to mini tamiya.
Think I also have an issued sling that I can dig out, and the metal front sight post to use with the metal carry handle if you want to change it back to either the A1 or carbine version. Any you can have a real SA80 combination tool also.
This thing is heavy as it has a stamped steel receiver and the aircraft grade aluminum front end.
Slight wobble on the front end to the receiver.
Looking for £350 collected from York or can post but will be about £25 as need to add extra insurance.
