How did the gas piston get damaged? I don't see how HPA would affect it unless the gun isn't straight and it was dragging on the trunnion.

I’m not sure. I brought it for around £70 new before getting the pts mount for it and fitting the kill flash. I think it brought it from either dca or hpa around 3 years ago
