Here we have a G&G Sig 552 project for sale.
THE BAD BITS;
- she’s a non-runner. Suspected the trigger contacts have burnt out, this isn’t the ETU version, so new ETU/trigger could be a fix.
- Motor is currently disconnected. Just wanted to point that out. THE RIF WILL NOT SHOOT IF YOU PUT A BATTERY ON IT.
- left side fire selector: 1.4mm grub screw has rounded off so will require drilling o it & replacing to fit. Right side works fine & rif actuates between safe & fire.
- left hand side hand guard RIS missing? Not sure if these came with one on both sides but there’s holes for one, so assuming it used to exist.
THE GOOD BITS;
- G&G absolutely nailed the externals on these and other than the mentioned above the rif presents superbly. Great heft to it & typical G&G quality is evident.
- Comes complete in box with magazine (30rd? - compatible with JG/TM).
- 1/3-ish the cost of a new one (if you can find them) for what MIGHT be a very quick and easy fix if you know what you’re doing.
- Completely standard v3 gearbox ready for any other internal upgrades.
