Would a CA G3 metal body fit on a TM G3 SG1?

I was wondering if a CA G3 metal body would fit on a TM G3 SG1?

I have read on several forums and the answers just seem to be mixed, some people have claimed that it needs heavy modifcation and some say it just fits straight on.

If it does need heavy modifcation, what part of the receiver would need to be modified?
