Wobbling Magpul Handguard?? how to stop.

I put a Magpul Hand guard onto an M15A1 I am refurbishing.

It has a 'wobble' around the barrel axis.

It seems the cutouts in the front end that fit around the two ,bumps' on the front ring are wider than on the standard hand guard.

Does anyone know a good way to pack this out to hold it more securely or will i Have to look for a front ring with 'bigger bumps'?

Could just fold up some electrical tape and stuff it in there? If not maybe some modelling clay that will set hard might be worth trying.

Good Idea. I have Epoxy Putty I can use to close up the openings.
