A transparent GBB receiver? That's pretty cool to be able to see everything working as it fires but I doubt it'd stand up to any prolonged use/abuse.

Now everyone can see my expensive CNC hop unit, finally.

I think this is the stage up from throwing BB's at your opposition.

I mean, no, there's different kinds of plastic. You can't make transparent Fibre Reinforced Nylon this cheap, which is basically what you want for half decent durability in a GBB.

It's likely to be transparent ABS, at best polycarbonate. The former is crap, the latter is unlikely because it'd be pretty expensive.

Also it's gonna look hideous after it scratches tbh.

You're right, of course but my point was it's no less strong than any other ABS airsoft gun. I know airsoft manufacturers like to throw "polymer" in there like it's some magic kind of alchemy but it's usually just ABS.

Tbf it really depends what you're buying.

AEGs it tends to be ABS because they're cheap and there's not much mechanical stress. In GBBs it needs to ideally be FRN or something a bit tougher because it's getting rattled more. It's why the KWA and TM MP7s eventually crack their receivers but the VFC holds.

This is an odd one. I like the idea of a lightweight GBBR for a lot of players though the transparent polymer receiver is bizarre to me.

It also looks like there's some sort of ZET plate while the mag looks like a VFC design.
Seems like a good amount of educational value in that, as you can see things working (or not working).

but as others have said. Fragile.
