Well this has been one in the running for many years, but it would appear as though we're finally on the cusp of getting our GBB SKS.

Estimating a Q2 2026 launch, but more details and information to follow....

I both love and hate this at the same time.

I love it because it's a GBBR SKS and that's one hell of a vibe, but I hate it because it looks like it will just be way too impractical. Those mags make my m700 and Kar98k mags look big. What is the capacity going to be? 5rds? 10rds? and I think the gas reservoir will be tiny due to the curvature of the mags, which won't pair well with it being a GBBR rather than the non-blowback action of the m700 and Kar98k that also have tiny mags with small reservoirs.

If its green gas, its an auto buy for me. If its CO2 (as I suspect) I may think twice

They've said the mag capacity is 10 rounds. The thing we're all waiting for is performance, I can live without a gas rifle that empties 5 magazines worth of ammo with one fill, as long as the 1 or 2 I do get work flawlessly and it shoots well.

10 rds is pitifully small. Might be a deal breaker, all depends on mag prices

At least with semi only and 10rd mags, it should fall under the DMR category and therefore somewhat sideskirt the issue of it potentially being CO2 and having higher FPS
