Variable wound spring orientation.

Quick question guys, got a variable wound spring for my AEG. Wondering if there is a right/wrong way to install.

One end has tighter coils than the other, does this need to be at the piston View attachment 46718or the guide end?

Tighter coils at spring guide end. Other way around apparently lowers FPS though I haven’t personally substantiated it

Yeah, should have thought of the search function.

put some thick grease on the guide end it should reduce spring ping and rattle
