steel bbs 1911

Hi guys i'm owner of cybergun 1911 rail. I want to use 6 mm steel bbs on my pistol. but I've heard that steel ones are bad for precision barrel.
And it's very difficult to buy cooper flatted bbs. Then do i must use only plastics?

Why do you want to use metal BBs? I sure hope you're not considering shooting them at people. Stick to plastic.

Let's say/hope your going to be using them for plinking, I personally would say stick with heavy weight plastic bbs, and if you really want to shoot metal bbs get some airguns
