SRC G36c upgrades?

I am planning on buying a SRC G36c but recently have been told by a retailer (who doesn't stock them) they can only be upgraded using SRC parts! Is this true?? If not can anyone recommend upgrades they would make please ph34r.gif

As far as I know the only part that won't fit is the m4 mag adapter which needs some filing.

It could do with a madbull 6.03 inner barrel and madbull red hop rubber, thatll increase range and accuracy
