Hey guys,

Bought a Raptor PKP off of here a little while ago and it was a bit of a mess, the box mag didn’t work (Seller was more than cooperative so no issues there) I bought 2 more raptor box mags and both arrived broken like the PKP mag did so I gave up and ran it off of my A&K PKM box mag.

I’ve since upgraded the box mag from the PKP with the bullgear insert but due to this I want to keep both of the box mags for my PKM which leads me to the first issue with pricing the PKP… A new A&K box mag is £100, is it fair to simply remove the £100 from the asking price I had in mind to account for it having no magazine?

It’s also been painted twice, currently it’s been mostly painted back to matte black. How much should the paint job affect the overall pricing?

Aside from a cut down picatinny rail (original rear sight is also included when it’s listed) it’s completely standard but has had the wiring redone as it arrived mangled and messy. The hop unit suffers from the typical A&K style issue where the rotary part doesn’t apply much pressure, I’ve remedied it by adding a sliced omega nub to act as a spacer but it means that roughly 1/4 of the hop dial turned “off” still keeps the bucking contact patch pushed down slightly. This obviously would also affect price…

Overall the condition of the replica is fine, it works flawlessly (with a mag) and it’s never let me down the 5 or 6 times I’ve had it out in the field but I have a PKM which I dragged through the bullgear catalog so the PKP is just left in a case in the corner of the room, forgotten about.

TL;DR Version; Raptor PKP with 2 layers of paint (Now painted black again), no magazine and hop has been modified with a cut nub to make it work but not as efficiently as a replacement hop unit would.

So overall, what would be the best and most honest/fair way of pricing this thing?

£350 (70% retail - £100 new mag - £58 new hop unit). Might need to drop it to £300 if the paint is terrible.

Nice one, thank you. I was sitting at the £300 mark myself, so good to know I wasn’t off on pricing. I assume the £58 for the new hop is the bullgear one? As the standard A&K replacement is £24 iirc

Update:
Checking it over before taking photos to list it and the hop unit does in fact work as intended, I believe I put my old PKM hop unit into the PKP so it has full on/off like it should do
