I've been looking at getting a free float rail system for my G&P M4A1. My gun is front wired and I want to get a PEQ box but I've been wondering what happens to the wires? Do they have to be cut or are they out of the way when I remove the delta ring and the part that screws in the receiver?

what I did was to get the fuse holder in under outer barrel then remove the battery plug then poke though one of the holes near to where I was mounting PEQ box reconnect plug small hole in back of PEQ box job done. Was a tad bit fiddley with fuse housing but got there in the end. Saying that just replaced it for a rear wired g/box
