Pistol Lanyard

Im looking into buying my first gbb pistol.

But when looking at holsters I keep coming across lanyards. What are they for and are they worth having?

Basically, they attach to the bottom of the pistol grip and again to yourself, normally on a belt or something. If you drop the pistol, it'll stop it getting away from you and getting lost

Worth having. Cheap way to stop losing your pistol.

Seen it many times people running with thier pistol dragging along the floor... May have got a bit muddy but better than running off without it.
