pistol front sight

Picked up an old KWC 1911 thats missing a front sight. Checked the dovetail on an old TM capa slide I have and it looks like the standard size 1911 sight dovetail would be too small. Widest point on the dovetail is about 7mm. Any one got any knowledge on other pistols dovetail widths that could fit? Made my own but I'd like something proper.
