Newbie in derby

So I've been wanting to join for some time now but been put off as no friends want to come with me, so decided to go solo. Is it gonna be weird or will it be cool. Gonna rent gear from the venue so I know I like it and to get a decent gun later on. I shoot air rifles all the time so I thought this would be cool. Any venues or people in Derbyshire to give advice please.

Don't worry about going down alone. Lots of players turn up by themselves. You'll most likely be set into teams anyway so you'll be bound to interact with a few people. Just put on a smile and get to know the guys there. If you ask one of them about their gear they won't shut up!

Nice one bro, looks like wild park near ashboune is closest for me so I'll probs check that out, I been quad biking there before and from what u said I got nothing to worry about then.
