TBH they use whatever the hell they like. But yes they use the M16/M4 and all other variants.

Iirc wasnt there a famous quote that one of the sf guys preferred the m4 over the sa80 as you could operate the safety without taking your finger off the trigger?
It's a good platform, i would not be one bit surprised to find anyone with the choice and the need using one.
