New Airsoft Law Query?

After playing at my local site in Reading on Sunday I found out that not only gun FPS limits are going up but guns with "Quick Change Springs" are going to become illegal? I'm fairly new so I've got no clue what the quick change spring is about and I've been told my only gun the AM014 has one. If someone on here could clear this up for me I'd really appreciate it.

Nah, someone's feeding you bullshit on that one.  If it shoots full auto and over 1.3J then it's over the legal limit. The spring change is irrelevant unless you put a big spring in it.

If that were the case asg would have pulled their evo from sale since it takes 5 seconds max to get the spring out.

If your running an aeg just make sure your well under the limit and dont worry until they actually tell us Wtf we need to do to comply
