Measuring barrel length

Just given my barrel and hop unit etc a good clean (was bloody dusty playing yesterday!) and thought I’d measure it for future reference/upgrades. 

Now the odd thing is it measures 205mm ish and I’ve never seen a 205mm barrel for sale? 

Is it the entire length or do you disregard from the hop window backwards (towards hop unit)? As when I measure there it comes up at 200mm which seem plentyful where ever I’ve looked.

Entire length = barrel length

some stock barrels can be a little bespoke

compared to other after market tbb lengths out there

some companies make slight fluctuations in certain sizes

eg: 247, 255 i think is qwirky though a G36 barrel is about that length

260, 265, 270, 285 etc....

294 or 297, 300, 305 or 310, 330 - this is a qwirky size

Prometheus do a 205mm barrel though not cheap

G&G do a 205 barrel - think my FFR A2 was that size & WarHog or something

Just get something around that figure, ya normally got a bit of leeway

see if you barrel stuck out or right at end of outer/flash hider

you might be OK with a 229 or settle for 200 sort of thing
