Maple Leaf Macaron Hop Rubber Bucking 70 Degrees (Aeg)- Question

Hi all,

This hop bucking has four ridges round the outside. Will that get in the way in installing this on an M4 type hop unit?

They usually fit ok, the ridges help compress the rubber on the barrel and aid the seal. I have occasionally had to use a drop of silicone oil on the outside of the rubber to help it slide in to the hop  (oh er ! ?)

generally isn't a problem, as mentioned the purpose is to improve seal around the rubber.

unless your hop unit is particularly tight it won't be a problem, although the only hop unit i've met that did that was the madbull rotary unit and that was so damn tight it didn't matter what rubber you were using (giggedy)

As other have mentioned it should just help the seal and fitment.
